Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Sorry! Due to unclear license conditions of the used icons in my icon sets, I am forced
to remove these icon sets from this page.

The used icons in my sets are all licensed under GPL but that's not right!
For example, in the used hydroxygen icons are included icons (from KDE oxygen icons), which are under LGPL.
Some other people have changed the licence to other incompatible licenses.

The following iconsets are no longer available:

The prob is that I used icons from other icon sets with wrong licenses. For example Hydroxygen icon set is licensed under the GPL but it includes icons (from oxygen KDE icons), which were licensed under LGPL.

In my opinion, problem is that designers actually don't care so much about licensing and stuff related to it. It's a bad habit (and I'm guilty too since I put myself in this group) but most of time (at least for me) one is so much excited about releasing new stuff that actually doesn't care about how is going to release it

yes, I know my friend! But... if they care about you can read this:

"This icon set has a license problem, please fix it. The original icon set this icon set "steals" its icons is "oxygen" an LGPL icon set, GPL is a more restrictive licence so you can not use it.
Secondly you seam to imply that you did this icons, were it is not true, this icons were mostly made by Nuno Pinheiro, David Vignoni, and Everado Coelho (crystal), yeat you seam to take credit for our work....plase make it clear that this is derevative work from other people and fix the licensing issue... BTW I'm not sure all of the icon set's you used here are compatible licensing wise, please verify that.

Ok, so you have fully made the point, and you're completely right.
Probably someone actually cares about it, even though this could not be applied to all developers. And probably (I'm telling this not to being in contrast with you but since I'm guessing that in this case is true) the unexpected care given by Nuno Pinheiro is related to the fact that he (and his colleagues) is the designer of a very famous and important iconset (so well designed to be the default one in KDE environment), and he as to manage this kind of stuff to somehow avoid the leakage of icons and the weaken of the copyright on it.
