I installed bespin and be::shell, then tried to created my own theme, everything is ok except there are few applets in the be::shell documentation then this theme, like update and bottom right workspace switcher or whatever, I just wonder how you do that, It's amazing, did you edit code or what? It'll be great help if you provide some reference for understanding be::shell and bespin more, or just share your latest code so we can get it and tweak it little bit as over preferences, and of course keep up the good work:D

1. Thanks for the compliment and you interest :)

2. No, there is nothing changed in code of BE::Shell by me. There is nothing special in my config.
The update panel is just working with Debian based systems. But there is also a script for Arch in be-shell-code.
For understanding BE::Shell you can read the wiki and play a lot with be.shell config AND style.css code.
But take care, a wrong configuration can crash your BE::Shell!! After changes you have to reload the config. Right click on desktop -> config -> reload
for some changes you have to reload complete be.shell use a terminal: kquitapp be.shell; sleep 1; be.shell
For the workspace switcher you can also have a look in my old theme here:
->  lagadesk.deviantart.com/art/BE…

Have also a look in your group gallery for themes and configs, scripts and whatever you need.

If you use Debian / a Debian based system you can try (as example) this in be.shell config for update panel:

needs aptitude and update-manager... and of course the update script from script folder in be-shell-code!
...and don't forget to add the UpdatePanel to Panels in be.shell  -> [BE::Shell] section
maybe you have to adjust the path to the script ;)

btw. you can also add this script as cronjob to look every 30 min or whatever for new updates

[Apt]
Exec=$HOME/.kde/share/apps/be.shell/scripts/beapt
Icon=system-upgrade1
Label=< ? >
Mode=1
ToolTip=search for updates...
Type=Button

[UD]
Exec=kdesudo update-manager
Label=UPDATES
ToolTip=Updatemanager
Type=Button

[UpdatePanel]
Applets=Apt,UD
BlurRadius=2
Frozen=false
Id=UpdatePanel
Length=7
Offset=16
Position=3
Screen=-1
Size=99
Struts=false
Visible=true

section in style.css (for example):

#Apt
{
     color: #dddddd;
     border: 1px solid transparent;
     font: bold;
     text-decoration: none;
     font-size: 10pt;
     font: bold;
     margin-bottom: -3px;
     margin-top: 2px;
     padding-left: -3px;
     padding-right: -3px;
}
#UD /*UPDATES*/
{
     color: #888888;
     border: 1px solid transparent;
     font: bold;
     text-decoration: none;
     font-size: 7.5pt;
     margin-top: 0px;
     padding-bottom: -2px;
}
#UpdatePanel
{
     background: qlineargradient(x1:0, y1:0, x2:0, y2:1, stop:0 rgba(100,100,100,255), stop:1 rgba(0,0,0,255));
     border-radius: 32px;
     margin-right: 35px;
     shadow-radius: 36px;
     shadow-padding: 4 4 4 4;
     shadow-border: 1px rgba(255,255,255,70);
     padding-left: -4px;
     padding-right: -4px;
     min-height: 64px;
     max-height: 64px;
}

Hope it helps you... Have fun! :)
